Growing up in India, where looks matter and where art is generally appreciated superficially, my work was heavily influenced by skill, technique and what people consider beautiful. Although having experimented with many different subject matters in the past, human figures have been a source of inspiration that is reflected in my work. Over the years as I have grown, attention to detail has been my prime focus and helps me find subject matter irrespective of the country that I have lived in.
